Biography

Education

My formal education began with an Associate’s Degree in Advertising Design (A.A.) from the Art Institute of Colorado in Denver. Following a brief respite I continued my education and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) with emphasis on ceramics cum laude, from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida.

Continuing Education

To keep current with the latest trends, I participate in available workshops as deemed appropriate. A few of my favorite workshops taken over the years include the following: Kathy Triplett, Handbuilding Techniques, Leah Leitson, Altering Forms on the Wheel, Hayne Bayless, Extruder, and others offered by Akire Satake, Michael Kline, Nick Joerling, John Britt and Suze Lindsay.
